Research & storytelling fuels my design process.

I created an experience through a Japanese tea brand, focusing on ritual, balance, and mindful living. Throughout my process, I gathered a lot of inspiration from rough, natural textures to the elegant motion of Japanese calligraphy, to create a custom typeface
(called the Wabi Sabi font; in reference to the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty within the imperfect), which became a core part of the brand identity, alongside the packaging for the teas, the website and the additional promotional materials.

My first client project entailed working alongside my teammate to produce a publication alongside other wayfinding assets for the 2026 Coventry Biennial contemporary art festival. We worked together to create a lot of wayfinding materials such as: a floorplan of the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, a map of Coventry venues for the Biennial, stamps to collect, designed A-boards with directions and a festival guide (to see more please visit my Instagram listed within contacts below).
One of my main focuses was the festival guide, used to inform visitors as well as direct them using the map and stamp collection page created by my teammate. At the end of the project, we were invited to the opening night to see our designs in action and obtain physical copies of the festival guide for our portfolios.

Mythos – a limited-edition card pack for a game, based on different cultural branches of mythology. For this project, I focused on my design principles of research and storytelling. This project allowed me to experiment to my fullest, exploring materials such as wood for my box and techniques such as screen-printing for my cards.
My final product had a fictional brand behind it, with thoughts on additional card packs, ideal audiences and a product story to go behind it. The brand behind my product focused on immersion, by transforming the audience into archaeologists and presenting the product itself as an ancient relic rooted in history.
