This is an official match day poster which was used by Coventry City Football Club who are likely to be promoted the English Premier League next season. The city of Coventry has a very historical tie to cars and motorsport which is where I drew inspiration from for this poster, going for a motorsport, racer vibe with the tire marks and asphalt texture in the background,

this is accompanied by a chequered pattern at the bottom of the poster which is also a pattern used by Coventry City FC and is called "The Two Tone Check" which is inspired by race flags. The font used is also a racer style font which further pushes the theme of the poster and finally everything is brought together by the signature colours of the football club, Navy Blue and Sky Blue.

A client reached out to me asking for a logo for their fitness clothing line called Kinetic. The logo consists of two letters "KG" which means "Keep Going" and is the brands moto, this has a double entendre as "KG" also means "Kilograms" which is a metric that training weights are measured in.

I created different versions of the logo but we decided to go with the version with an arrow as this showed forward movement, symbolising the brand moto "Keep Going" and also resonates with the brand being "Kinetic" which is energy that comes from movement.

My client wanted a graphic t-shirt with images that portrayed a 'Sexy vibe" which led t the selection of the pictures used for the design. I drew inspiration from the reference images my client sent and I used the threshold effect on the images to give it a rough, hand drawn feeling.

We settled on red writing for the "Saint Valley" text with the chosen font as it resembled writing with lipstick, further relating it to the "sexy" theme of the t-shirt design.

I believe that research is what really defines a design project and gives it purpose, making every design choice feel intentional and not just aesthetic. I'm not the best at drawing/ sketching but I try to make sure I do this the before every

design as I find that when I do sketch a design before bringing it to life digitally, it makes the process a lot more easier. I tend to draw inspiration from different day to day activities such as going on walks, listening to music, watching shows, etc.
